Cochrane schools are part of the Rocky View School Division, as well as the Calgary Catholic School District. There is a total of eight elementary schools that service Cochrane, with one providing French immersion, two Catholic, and one francophone school. There is a middle school that provides French immersion and three high schools. Of those three, one school continues with French immersion, and one is part of the Catholic division. Within these schools, there is programming for religious instruction as well.
