There are three schools in the area, dubbed the tri-school area, including a secondary school with a French immersion program, a French elementary school, and a French middle school. There is also a small private school within walking distance of home.

The Village is home to Plainsmen Arena, which has Jensen Park in its own backyard. This park, named after one of Airdrie’s first settlers has a large green space that is turned into an outdoor skating rink every winter, and a good-sized play structure and swings.
Airdrie Farmers Market
The Airdrie Farmers Market runs every Wednesday from June to September and is the largest outdoor market Airdrie has to offer. With new vendors every season, there’s bound to be something for everyone. Enjoy the local crafts, baking, and vegetables, or skip the kitchen and eat off the delicious food truck menus. You can support locals in your own backyard.
