Royal LePage Donates to the Strathmore Wheatland Crisis Centre- Royal Lepage Benchmark - Strathmore

On March 30th, Royal LePage Benchmark in Strathmore presented the Wheatland Crisis Centre with a cheque for $9,707

“I’m so excited. Everything that you can do to give back to the communities that you serve makes such a difference,” said Corinne Lyall, Broker/Owner of Royal LePage, “To think that you can impact real people with real-life problems, maybe we’re not changing the world, but maybe we’re turning the dial a little bit to help individuals to get on their feet and find independence and do better in their lives.”

Royal LePage Canada is the only real estate franchisor with its own charitable organization: The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. 100 percent of the funds donated to the Shelter Foundation are sent to the local charities that each Royal LePage office chooses. Royal LePage Benchmark supports the Children’s Cottage Society in Calgary, Big Hill Haven in Cochrane and the Wheatland Crisis Centre. These centers provide shelter for families who have suffered from abuse all across Alberta.

“It’s something that is at the heart of the Royal LePage Family” said Corinne

Ken Robertson, treasurer and Wheatland Crisis Society said about the funding: “I think it’s going to have a huge impact. We get a lot of provincial funding which helps with operations, and it doesn’t provide any extras for the crisis society.”

Our Real Estate Professionals do great work to give back to the local community. In 2021, we conducted a massive toy drive for the Children’s Cottage Society and collaborated with Royal LePage Agents across Alberta for the Ride for Shelter.
