Pump Hill, comprised mainly of detached luxury homes, is a highly sought-after, upscale residential neighbourhood in Calgary’s southwest. Originally established in 1967 as part of the Palliser community it became Pump Hill in 1991.
With its close proximity to major roadways, luxury shopping, hospitals, Heritage Park, and the Glenmore Reservoir, the community is home to some of Calgary’s most affluent residents.
The community is served by Calgary Board of Education Schools, Nellie McClung Elementary and John Ware Junior High as well as by St. Benedict Elementary in the Catholic division.
As part of ward 11, Pump Hill is bounded to the north by 90th Avenue SW and the Glenmore Reservoir, to the east by 14 Street SW, to the south by Southland Drive and to the west by 19 Street SW.
