Queensland has access to 5 Ctrain stations, all within less than 4 kilometers. The closest bus routes are #28, #29, #35, and #44. Being in close proximity to Deerfoot Trail, downtown is only 20 minutes away!
Queensland has a large off leash area for dogs. The Higgins bridge across the Bow River in Fish Creek Provincial Park connects Queensland, Diamond Cove, and Douglasdale Estates.
The entire ridge overlooking the river has been designated as public open space in order to maintain the natural features of the area and to provide for public access to the river. Bow Bottom trail used to be a dirt road and the shopping center that is now known as the Deer Valley Shopping Center, was a gravel pit.
