Manchester is an affordable neighbourhood found in Southeast Calgary, located east of Macleod Trail, and south of 34 Ave S. Mostly known for its industrial businesses, Manchester has evolved over the years into a fast-growing residential neighbourhood. Large apartment buildings, row houses, and condos make up the majority of housing here, with small apartments and single-family homes filling in the rest. Renters account for about three quarters of the population in Manchester, choosing from a large assortment of rental sizes, from lofts to multi-bedroom.
