Forest Heights, part of the Forest Lawn community that was established in 1961, is a vibrant inner-city neighbourhood in Calgary’s southeast.

The neighbourhood is a great choice for families with children since it offers a variety of both public and separate schools that are within walking distance. Forest Heights also offers easy access to the downtown core via Memorial Drive and access to a robust transit system.

Forest Heights is close to the Bow River, the Western Irrigation District Canal, Elliston Park, and major roadways like Deerfoot and Stoney Trail.  Forest Lawn also contains the 17th avenue commercial district, known as International Avenue, Calgary’s Culinary and Cultural Capital.

As part of Ward 9, the community is bounded by 36 street to the west and 52 street to the east, Memorial Drive to the north, and 26 avenue to the south.
