Erin Woods sits on the eastern edge of Calgary in the South East quadrant of the city. This community was annexed by the city in 1961 and with the community being established in 1981. This community is located between the Canadian National Railway Tracks to the North and West, Peigan Trail to the South and 52nd Street to the East. Other recreational opportunities exist at the East Calgary Twin Arenas located within the community.
Having access to 52nd Street and Peigan Trail ensures quick access to downtown, the foothills industrial area, and the new Ring Road. The #23 bus route takes you straight down 52nd Street and provides access to the many industrial areas on the East side of Calgary.
