The Calgary Transit Green Line C-Trian has a stop scheduled for the South East community of Douglas Glen, ensuring you will have easy access to downtown, local hospitals, industrial areas, and post-secondary institutions such as Mount Royal University and University of Calgary. Douglasdale is located between Deerfoot Trail to the South, 24th Street to the East, 18th Street to the North and the Bow River to the West.
The Bow River Pathway runs along the west side of the community so it’s easy to get out and enjoy the scenery, do some bird watching, or go for a walk, run or bike ride. The Douglas Glen community has a large green space with an outdoor ice rink, tennis courts, soccer fields and a playground. Located within walking distance of the community is a local YMCA, Library and shopping center, ensuring all you need is within a short distance of home. Children in the Douglas Glen area are bussed to the neighboring communities of Douglasdale, for great Calgary Board of Education schools, such as Mountain Park, and Acadia for school.
