Diamond Cove, established in 1989, is a small residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary. It is bordered to the north by Anderson Road and Deerfoot Trail, to the east by the Bow River, to the south by Queensland, and to the west by Bow Bottom Trail. This community was established as an estate community with a gated entrance.
Residents can enjoy many recreational activities living near to Fish Creek Provincial Park. The community is involved with the Friends of Fish Creek Park, who strive to preserve the park and its wildlife. This group is involved in the annual river clean up. Diamond Cove/Queensland have a few special events during the year. These include a Halloween Party and a Winter Festival. During the summer, there is an annual parade of garage sales and a barbeque. The community centre has a gym, meeting rooms, kitchen and playschool.
