Evergreen is a suburban residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary. This community is located south of Fish Creek Provincial Park, and southeast from the Tsuu T’ina first nation reserve. To the north is the community of Woodlands, Shawnessy is to the east, and Bridlewood is to the south. There is a proposed development area to the west named Providence.
There are two sections of Evergreen. Evergreen Estates is the older, more established area that borders Fish Creek Provincial Park to the north and west. The community is the newer area to the south. The two sections have their own separate community associations.

For transportation, the closest LRT station is the Fish Creek-Lacombe station. The buses that service this community are #11, #12, #15, #52 and #777.
Nearby amenities include the Cardel Rec Center & the Trico Center. The nearest shopping centers include Millrise Station which has grocery stores, drug stores, banks and coffee shops among other services. Another nearby shopping center is the Shawnessy Shopping Centre. A myriad of services are offered here including banks & financial services, restaurants, supermarkets, apparel stores, and a movie theater.
