Valley Ridge Real Estate & Community Guide
Valley Ridge is a residential community in Calgary located in the NW Quadrant of the city, across from Winsport – Canada Olympic Park and north of the Trans-Canada Highway. The main highlight of this community is the Valley Ridge Golf Course. The community was developed surrounding the golf course which was once home to the Happy Valley Campground which closed in the 1980’s.
Scenic views are a huge draw to this community with half of the community dedicated to greenspace, including walking trails, bike paths, the golf course, parks and more. Another draw is the close drive to downtown Calgary and minutes from the City border.
Valley Ridge prides itself on being a peaceful community for all ages and includes a lot of facilities for all ages. There is an outdoor fitness park that was built in 2016, and a popular outdoor skating rink, skating oval, hockey rinks and many sports leagues to join!
