University Heights Real Estate & Community Guide
University Heights is a small, established community in Calgary’s northwest. It is a popular location because of its close proximity to the University of Calgary, the Foothills Hospital, the Children’s Hospital, McMahon Stadium and the Foothills Athletic Park.
It also has great access to public transit with its close proximity to the Brentwood Station as well as the University Station of the Calgary CTrain.
University Heights is serviced by two schools in the neighbourhood, Westmount Charter and University Elementary.
The community is supported by the University Heights Community Association.
As part of ward 1, it is bounded to the north by 24 Avenue N, to the east by University Drive, to the south by 16 Avenue N (Trans-Canada Highway) and to the west by Shaganappi Trail.
