North Haven Real Estate & Community Guide
North Haven is reportedly split by a bus trap into: Lower North Haven on the south side and Upper North Haven on the north side. This area was used for cattle grazing prior to its establishment and development between 1963 and 1971 and is located just east of Nose Hill Park and northwest of John Laurie Boulevard. North Haven is a well-established area with several restaurants and take out options, as well as, two off leash areas and a Community Association.
Located within walking distance to one of Calgary’s largest inner city parks makes North Haven a desired location for many. Take an afternoon and make your way to the Nose Hill Park view point where you can see the City’s beautiful skyline or hike a bit further to the Siksikaitsitapi Medicine Wheel or the Stone Maze located within the park. Keep your eyes open as you may just see some wildlife including deer, coyotes, porcupines or various birds. Are you more into indoor activities? The Calgary Winter Club is located on 14th street right across from North Haven and offers a number of indoor activities.
