Greenwood – Greenbriar is situated in the NW quadrant of Calgary.  It is a smaller community of 1.2 sq KM located within the community of Bowness (link to Bowness here). Development of Greenwood – Greenbriar was started in 1911 with the community association following in 1963.

Its location close to Bowness Park, Edworthy Park, numerous athletic parks as well as Shouldice pool make it a popular area for families. Estimated population as of 2016 was about 1000 people living in 498 dwellings which is not surprising given its small footprint.With the majority of the development having been established you will find many older homes and some new developments in the Area.
