Elboya Real Estate & Community Guide
Elboya was originally farmland located on the south side of Calgary until 1910 when the city annexed the area. The community was established in 1947 and is bounded by the Elbow River to the North, 4th Street/45th Avenue/McLeod Trail to the East, 50th Avenue to the South, and Elbow Drive to the West. Elboya shares a community association with Britannia and you can check out their website for hall rentals and event information.
Elboya has access to surrounding parks and green spaces including Stanley Park which has several recreational opportunities available within it including an outdoor pool, lawn bowling, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and a public boat launch for the Elbow River. Additionally, Elboya has access to an off-leash area, schools, churches, and restaurants. Access to both McLeod Trail and Elbow Drive ensures a short drive into downtown Calgary, and quick access to, Chinook Mall, one of Calgary’s largest shopping centers.
