Established in 1973, Whitehorn is a diverse and vibrant neighbourhood located in Calgary’s northeast. Homes in Whitehorn are conveniently located around many restaurants and shopping centers with great access to major roadways and city transit.
The majority of homes in this community were built in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s with a wide variety of styles from bungalow, bi-level, splits and 2 storeys.
The community is served by Annie Gale Junior High, Chief Justice Milvain Elementary and Colonel J. Fred Scott Elementary public schools, as well as St. Wilfrid Elementary (Catholic).
The Whitehorn Community Association offers a variety of programs for community members to enjoy year round.
As part of ward 5, Whitehorn is bounded by McKnight Boulevard to the north, 52 Street NE to the east, 32 Avenue NE to the south and 36 Street NE to the west.
