Established in 1962, Vista Heights is a residential community in Calgary’s northeast.

Located in a desirable northeast location, this communityconsists mainly of a mixture of detached bungalows and townhouses. Both the city’s downtown core and the international airport are easily accessible. With major shopping close by, the Vista Heights neighbourhood is also near three major industrial hubs including Sunridge Industrial Park, the South Airways Industrial Area and McCall Industrial Park

The community is served by the Vista Heights Elementary public school.

As part of ward 5, it is bounded to the south by the Trans-Canada Highway and to the west by Deerfoot Trail. To the north and east it borders the South Airways Industrial Area.
