Temple Real Estate & Community Guide
Located in Calgary’s northeast, Temple, a predominantly low-density community was established in 1977. Temple is one of four communities built in the 1970s in northeast Calgary. These four communities together are known as “The Properties”, and all four were named after nearby mountains: Mount Rundle, Pineridge, Whitehorn, and Temple.
The community of Temple is served by Annie Foote Elementary and Guy Weadick Elementary public schools, as well as by St. Thomas More Elementary and Father Scollen Elementary & Junior High Catholic schools.
The Temple Community Association is dedicated to making the Temple Community a safer and livable place to live and work. Among its services, the Community Association offers Hall Rentals, as well as many other sports and recreational programs.
Convenient access to transit and major roads such as Barlow Trail and the Trans Canada Highway makes Temple a convenient place to live.
As part of Ward 5, Temple is bounded to the north by McKnight Boulevard, to the east by 68 Street E, to the south by 32 Avenue N and to the west by 52 Street E.
