Saddle Ridge is a quiet residential neighbourhood in Calgary’s northeast with great appeal for families offering a great mix of single-family and multi-family dwellings including condominium apartments, townhouses, duplexes, detached laned, detached front attached garage homes, as well as larger executive homes on walkout lots. Saddle Ridge is still developing as it expands toward Stoney Trail in the east with a new sub-community called Saddlestone.
Saddle Ridge is close to major transportation routes, such as Stoney and Métis Trail, and is only 10 minutes from the Calgary International Airport and is also home to a new LRT station.

As part of Ward 3, Saddle Ridge is located at the northeastern edge of the city, and it is bounded to the north by Airport Trail NE, to the east by Stoney Trail NE, to the south by 80 Avenue NE, and to the west by Métis Trail.
