Rundle Real Estate & Community Guide
Located in Calgary’s northeast, Rundle, a predominantly low-density community was established in 1973 and is one of four communities built in the 1970s in northeast Calgary. These four communities together are known as “The Properties”, and all four were named after nearby mountains: Mount Rundle, Pineridge, Whitehorn, and Temple.
Convenient access to the LRT system and major roads such as Barlow Trail and the Trans Canada Highway makes this area a convenient place to live. Also, the regional bike pathway system is located in and adjacent to Rundle.
The community is served by multiple Calgary Board of Education schools! Rundle Elementary, Cecil Swanson Elementary, Dr. Gordon Higgins Junior High public schools, and by St. Rupert Elementary and St. Rose of Lima Elementary and Junior High Catholic schools. The Rundle Community Association also operates a play school in the neighbourhood.
As part of Ward 5, Rundle is bounded by 32 Avenue NE to the north, 16 Avenue NE to the south, 52 Street NE to the east, and 36 Street NE to the west. Sunridge Mall is located immediately west of the neighbourhood.
