The northeast community of Pineridge is located with 16th Avenue (TransCanada Highway) on its southern border. This community runs north to 32nd avenue and is bounded by 68th street to the east and 52nd street to the west. Calgary hosts two Leisure Centres and Pineridge is lucky to host one of them within its borders. The Village Square Leisure Centre has much to offer residents including: a pool with water slides, gymnasiums, a library, recreational programming and more. This hidden gem is a draw for many of the residents.
Let’s look at the education opportunities! Pineridge has a Junior High and High School located within its boundaries and the Elementary School is located in neighboring communities. Given its proximity to the TransCanada Highway Pineridge is easily accessible and guarantees quick access to both Downtown Calgary and the bedroom community of Chestermere which has a public lake. The Pineridge Community Centre offers an outdoor ice rink and tennis courts, as well as, baseball diamonds and green spaces.
