Located between 16th Avenue and Memorial Drive and bordered by Barlow Trail to the East and Deerfoot Trail to the West, this area is a beautiful established community in the North East quadrant of Calgary. With two major highways running along its borders Mayland Heights offers you easy access to get out of town for a day trip and/or for those longer road trips. A short distance North on Deerfoot Trail offers you quick access to the Calgary International Airport.

Deerfoot Athletic Park is located on the west of Mayland Heights and hosts Tennis Courts, a soccer field and Baseball Diamonds, as well as, green space. This community hosts a small industrial area on its south side and has a small shopping area with a grocery store, convenience store, post office, gas station and restaurant. Additional shopping and amenities are located a short drive away in surrounding communities. Mayland Heights has three schools servicing grades K to 9.
