Crescent Heights Real Estate & Community Guide

Welcome to the inner city neighbourhood of Crescent Heights! This community is bounded to the north by the Trans-Canada Highway (16th Avenue NW) and to the south by Memorial Drive and the Bow River. This affluent neighbourhood was originally incorporated as a village in 1908 and annexed by the City of Calgary in 1911.

You’ll live in the heart of a wide selection of shops and restaurants located along Centre St NW and Edmonton Trail NW.   Enjoy almost instant access to the downtown core and trendy East Village via 4th Street, Centre Street and Edmonton Trail.  Major bus routes will also take you to the downtown core, visit www.calgarytransit.com for a full list of routes available in Crescent Heights.

Nearby McHugh Bluff Park, Sunnyside Bank Park and Prince’s Island Park offer tons of greenspace, views of Calgary, and plenty of recreational activities for runners, bikers and those out for a leisurely stroll.

As of 2019, Crescent Heights was home to over 6,600 residents.

The Crescent Heights Community Association keeps its residents engaged with a variety of programming, including a Mom and Tot meet-up, various social activities and sports. Their community centre offers rental of their unique hall (which has a balcony and mezzanine level). The Crescent Heights Community Association is located at the west side of the community, across the street from the Crescent Heights High School, on the grounds of the Crescent Heights Park.  Be sure to check out the community association’s website http://crescentheightsyyc.ca/or visit their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/chcayyc/
