Seton Real Estate & Community Guide
Established in 2018, Seton is a new master-planned community located in Calgary’s south east. In 2020, Seton was awarded New Community of the Year at the Bild Awards.
Seton, named the Heart of the South, is located next to the Seton Urban District, a vibrant commercial development.
When completed, Seton will contain a mix of residential and commercial properties and will be served by a proposed southeast leg of the Green Line. Seton is also home to the South Health Campus, a major hospital, which opened in 2011.
The community is currently served by the Joane Cardinal-Schubert high school. Both middle and elementary schools are planned for the area.
As part of ward 12, Seton is located directly south of Auburn Bay and east of Cranston. Its boundaries are presently Deerfoot Trail to the west, Seton Boulevard to the north, and an extension of 52 St. SE to the east. Its southern boundary is defined by a proposed unnamed arterial road.
