Parkdale Real Estate & Community Guide
Parkdale is a well-established inner-city neighborhood that lies along the north side of the Bow River and is located between the communities of Point McKay and West Hillhurst. First established in 1910, the majority of development didn’t take place until the late 1940’s. Parkdale consists mainly of low-density residential dwellings but has experienced a continued increase in density through development over the last 20 years with the appearance of new infills attracting young families with children. As of the 2019 census, Parkdale has 2,566 residents.
Parkdale has excellent access to major transit arteries and shopping areas via Memorial Drive, Highway 1, Shaganappi, and Crowchild Trails. Located adjacent to the Bow River Pathway System, you’ll enjoy plenty of recreational opportunities.
